The baby finless porpoise swims with the mother after its birth in Wuhan, capital of central China's Hubei Province, July 5, 2008.

Adult finless porpoise ""Ying Ying"" on Saturday gave birth to the male baby at the Hydrobiology Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Finless porpoises living in the Yangtze River, China's longest, are on the verge of extinction.
